Erlander Museum and Nordic Cultural Center closure extended
The Swedish Historical Society is mindful that there will continue to be various challenges brought on by the pandemic. The guidelines set forth by state and local governments addressing continued public health safety concerns and efforts to keep appropriate social distancing have created difficulties for staff, volunteers and visitors to the Erlander Museum and Nordic Cultural Center. We will continue to follow the directives of the public health departments and will keep you updated on any new developments, including information about reopening. For now, the Erlander Home Museum and Nordic Cultural Center will continue to remain closed until further notice.
In the meantime, we will continue to share Swedish culture and information through our website and on social media. We are extremely grateful for the unwavering support and take comfort in knowing that the Swedish Historical Society has value and meaning to so many. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time! If you have any questions, please contact the museum at museum@swedishhistorical.org or call 815-963-5559.
