Marimekko Inspired Table Runners with Printmaker

Join Rockford Printmaker Sarah Reed McNamara, owner of SRM Prints and GEM: gather, engage, make - artist collective, for a  block printed table runner workshop.
The class will take place at the Nordic Cultural Center, located at 327 S. 3rd Street, Rockford, IL 61104.

Create a block printed table runner drawing on inspiration from Marimekko textile designs. 

Participants will print onto a finished 14x60” flax linen table runner, using 1-2 ink colors. Textile block prints will be provided by instructor Sarah Reed McNamara. The class is limited to 6 people.

Learn how to make a block print textile and review the history of Marimekko textile designs. 

Class prices are $135 for Non Members and for  $120 Members.
