Dala Horse Textile Block Class

Join Rockford Printmaker Sarah Reed McNamara, owner of SRM Prints and GEM: gather, engage, make - artist collective, for a Dala Horse textile printing workshop. The class will take place at the Nordic Cultural Center, located at 327 S. 3rd Street, Rockford, IL 61104.

​Sarah will provide a brief discussion of textile printing and a demonstration of how textile blocks are carved.

Participants will use pre carved Dala Horse blocks, to create one 28” cotton tea towel and learn a little bit about the textile printing process!

Tea towels will be able to be taken home that day. Limited to 10 people per class.

Class prices are $40 per member and $50 per Non Member.
