Spring Clean up Day
Support our Building and Grounds Committee by helping us on Saturday, May 9th from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM for Spring Clean Up Day! Bring a pair of work gloves if you have them. We'll plan to work outside at both the Nordic Cultural Center and Erlander Home Museum. Fika will be provided for all! To RSVP, email [email protected] or call 815-963-5559. SHS Group Tour at Midway Village Museum SHS members are invited to join us for a guided group tour of Midway Village Museum, with special focus on their "Many Faces, One Community" exhibit. This gallery depicts the history of immigration to Rockford and how our community developed through the perseverance of immigrants from many countries and cultures. Become engaged by the stories of our ancestors who traveled to America seeking a better life. This tour has limited spots available and is for SHS members only. Book Club & Fika We have a clear winner from our summer book club survey, and we can’t wait to dive in together.
