Road Trip ~ Swedish Style
Ten Chimneys – This is the national historic landmark home of Broadway legends Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne. You will tour without ropes or barriers and see the one-of-a-kind collections the Lunts amassed during their lifetimes. Their Scandinavian heritage shines throughout. The tour includes the grounds, main house, studio and stuga-style cottage with traditional Swedish furnishings and folk-art paintings on the walls. And yes, there are ten chimneys!
Holy Hill Basilica – Located on 435 acres of glorious scenery on the highest elevation in Southeastern Wisconsin. Come for the architecture, stained glass, trails and peaceful views. We will have lunch in the café. About half a million people from all over the world visit Holy Hill each year.
Prerequisites:
Skill level: Must be able to walk on uneven ground, including standing and stair climbing. No wheelchairs or walkers for this trip
Ages: Suitable for ages 12+

Time: Depart at 9:00am – arrive back in Rockford at 6:30pm
