Midsommar will soon be upon us – it is one of the most popular celebrations for Swedes, both in Sweden and in this country. This is the season when music fills the air — a time when relatives and friends gather in the open meadow around flower-bedecked tables of food. This festival is traditionally as beautiful as it is entertaining.
This year, we will have two back-to-back events to celebrate. First, join us for the return of Dancing Queen: An ABBA Salute for a concert on Friday June 16th at 6:00 PM at the J.R. Sullivan Center in the Nordlof Center. Then, the following day; Saturday, June 17th from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM, we invite you to celebrate with us at a traditional Midsommar celebration on the grounds of the Erlander Home Museum and Nordic Cultural Center.

Midsommar Natt returns featuring live music performed by Dancing Queen: ABBA Salute. Join us with your best dance moves and beautiful voices on Friday, June 16th at 6:00 PM. The concert is presented by the Verdandi Lodge No. 3, I.O.S. and takes place at the Nordlof Center in the J.R. Sullivan Theater. The Nordlof Center located at 118 N Main St, Rockford, IL 61101 . Enjoy beverages served by Hilton Garden Inn, while grooving to your favorite song! Tickets will be picked up the day of the event at the door, there are no physical tickets for sale.
