Fika Made in Sweden
by: Stina Almroth
An introduction to "fika," a unique cultural feature of Sweden.
Coffee and pastries are taken twice a day with a good deal of ritual surrounding it. Good to know for any foreigner planning to go there--it is actually important not to turn down an invitation to fika! Also fun for any Swede to realize that what they took as something "natural" is actually a special national trait with a historical background. In English, but introducing several relevant Swedish words. Illustrated with striking photographs.
These are PRE-ORDER sales for the book. Once we receive our minimum number of orders, we will process and acquire the books from Sweden. You will receive confirmation when the books have been shipped and are ready.
At this time, book presales are for local pickup only at the Nordic Cultural Center.
Please allow at least 6-12 weeks* for shipping and processing.
