We are happy to report that Swedish Historical Society members generously supported the Phase I improvements to the Erlander Home in the amount of $20,000! The first phase of the project included many needed physical improvements to the Erlander Home. The aging, deteriorating landscaping was totally renovated in the front of the building, and a decorative fence was ordered for the backyard to replace the picket fence. The fence should arrive in February and be placed in early Spring. Phase II of the project includes the landscaping for the backyard of Erlander. A drawing of the proposed changes is shown here. The planting will take place in spring, and an additional $5,000 needs to be raised to complete the project. Won’t you please help?
